2. CYCLE ORGANIZATION
From 6 to 10 sessions of 1h30 each, during the months of May, June, September, and October.
Sessions take place during school hours.
3. SESSION ORGANIZATION
Instructors present the session's theme to their groups and give all safety instructions depending on sea conditions.
The class is divided into groups of 8 students.
Depending on the number of instructors and students, a beach workshop may be organized under the teacher’s supervision.
In case of bad weather preventing surf practice, a bodysurf lesson or a theoretical course (weather, wave formation, surfing history) will be offered.
4. SESSION STRUCTURE
The ocean environment is constantly changing, requiring specific adaptation each session.
Water confidence levels vary for each student, so expectations are individualized based on both student progress and weather conditions.
The first sessions follow the national levels (e.g., Première Mousse), helping students discover the equipment and environment.
Session planning follows the pedagogical progression of the French Surfing Federation.
Evaluations are individualized and continuous, based on the entire cycle.
EDUCATIONAL EQUIPMENT
Wetsuits adapted to the season and color-coded lycras.
Foam surfboards with soft fins.
