Privacy Policy – Use of Cookies
To ensure you have a smooth experience, this website uses cookies and Google Analytics trackers for statistical purposes.
Please also review our Legal Notice.
What is a cookie?
Almost all websites use cookie technology. A cookie is a small file that stores internet settings. It is downloaded by your browser when you visit a website for the first time. When you return to the same website using the same device, the browser checks if a corresponding cookie is present (i.e. one containing the website’s name) and sends the data back to the website. This allows the site to know you have visited before and, in some cases, adjust the content accordingly.
The benefits of cookies
Some cookies are extremely useful because they can make returning to a website more user-friendly. If you use the same device and browser as before, the website can remember your preferences, help us understand how you use our site, and display more relevant content.
None of the cookies we use collect personal information that can identify you.
The table below outlines the main cookies used on the Oléron Surf Club website, their purpose, and where they are used.
Managing and deleting cookies
If you want to change how cookies are used in your browser—including blocking or deleting cookies from Oléron Surf Club (or any website)—you can adjust your browser settings.
Most browsers let you accept or reject all cookies, accept certain types, or prompt you each time a site wants to save a cookie. You can also delete cookies already stored on your device.
