Founded in 2018, Oléron Surf Club was born from the shared passion of local surfers eager to spread their love for the ocean and the waves of Oléron Island.
Located in the heart of an exceptional natural setting, the club quickly became a key player in the local sports scene by offering lessons for all levels, friendly events, and a strong commitment to coastal protection.
Since its creation, Oléron Surf Club has nurtured a family-friendly, authentic atmosphere true to the spirit of surfing.

Oléron Surf Club is a non-profit organization that, from its creation, aimed to be a social and cultural asset for the Oléron community.
This has been reflected primarily through pricing based on household income, in order to ensure fairness and accessibility for all members.
The annual course fees are intentionally low to make surfing accessible to as many people as possible.
This philosophy also guides the club’s focus on working with disadvantaged groups: all our instructors are trained in Handi Surf, and we carry out various projects in collaboration with institutions such as the Centre Hélio-Marin in Saint-Trojan and the Marius Lacroix Psychiatric Hospital in La Rochelle.

Getting a license means becoming part of the big family of French surfing and Oléron Surf Club.
Supervision
You will be supervised by passionate, trained, and qualified instructors for all types of participants.
Equipment
We have a wide range of boards and wetsuits adapted to your progress.
The club is labeled Surf Club and French Surf School by the French Surf Federation.
